Slip Availability in San Carlos
Date: 2006/04/18 13:07
Are there slips available in San Carlos for a 51' sailboat? I would prefer San Carlos Marina or on a ball just outside of the Marina. Last preference but still managable would be over in Marina Real. Probably looking for 3 months in mid- to late-summer and possibly through the winter. Rates?

Thanks,
Steven

Hi, Steven, Maybe you will want to purchase your new water maker, dive compressor, life raft and EIRB in San Diego, because those are pretty hard to find in Ensenada. Stow them onboard and have them all installed by qualified yard guys in Ensenada, like at Baja Naval or INC, if you're going to be there a while anyway. Maybe Baja Naval has qualified riggers, to get your standing and running rigging set up for single handing.

Have you bought that boat yet?
