Puerto Escondido/Loretto is the only one. Check HPYC web site for the latest info. http://www.hiddenportyatchclub.com

I think 'yacht' was spelled wrong, because the Hidden Port Yacht Club website does work.

Unfortunately, it doesn't mention whether or not the new fuel dock in Puerto Escondido has been completed and is open for business. We checked a month ago (November 2005), and the floating fuel dock was still being constructed, located just past the ellipse and inside the main part of the bay. This isn't a very protected spot for a fuel dock, DDW from the Windows, and earlier this year a proto dock in that location got blown out. We'll see!

Meanwhile, if you can jerry-jug fuel, you can get it in Mulege by anchoring in the roadstead outside the river (depending on your draft) and dinking around the Sombrerito corner to a sportfishing dock, where a taxi is likely to get you the mile into town and back out. From here, you can almost see Punta Chivato by eyeball.

Or, if the Mulege river roadstead is too breezy, continue south into Concepcion Bay and anchor off Playa Santispac or one of the other populated beach anchorages in Coyote Bay. Taxis cruise by and hang out whenever they spot a new boat coming in. This area offers several anchorages with a lot more protection in North or South winds.

Smooth seas,
Pat & John E. Rains

Fuel is also available in Loreto, just North of Puerto Escondido. Anchor off and to the North of the panga harbor. Dinghy in to the panga harbor and tie up to a dock there. It is a short walk or taxi ride to the Pemex station. Lots of provisioning there too. It is an open roadstead so watch your weather.
