The theme for the 13th annual LoretoFest is “Back to the 50’s”. So put on your bobby socks and poodle skirt, and get those ducktails looking good.
We are excited about all the seminars and the new ones, which include the efficient use of solar power and Baja wildlife. Some of the returning seminars will be FUR-ST Aid for pets, updates on local marine park rules, weather in Baja and surrounding areas. There will be live musicians, games, a Chili Cook-off, Spam contest, the annual spaghetti dinner, a swap meet, dingy races, the Bay Clean-UP and much more. New this year will be a Friday night Mexican Fiesta potluck with traditional folk dancers. There will be a variety of childrens activities, including ring-toss, fishing pond, kayak races and other family oriented activities. Proceeds from the ever - popular Silent Auction and other LoretoFest activities are donated annually by Hidden Port Yacht Club to the Internado schools and to students which have begun their university education. LoretoFest is “pet friendly” and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. If anyone is interested in presenting a seminar or workshop, or volunteering to assist in any of the activities, please contact either Brenda (
