Gran Peninsula is the result of a market driven conversion to meet the growing demand of larger yachts. Gran Peninsula is clearly focused on higher standards of quality, yacht customer service and competitive pricing. Located only 60 NM southeast from San Diego -in the port of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico- Gran Peninsula is a substantial option for servicing and maintenance of the 80' and above yachts that navigate in the eastern Pacific from Alaska to Hawaii and Panama.
Management and ownership is the same team as Baja Naval Boatyard and Marina. Established in 1986, this is a proven and reliable yard for the yachting community in Southern California.

| We hauled our private yacht the Astral Star at GranPeninsula in early January 2008 after the non-stop trip down from Sointula, British Columbia. Original plans were a two week shave and haircut for the bottom with some minor plate repair to the hull. Once into the work it was discovered that more extensive repairs were required. Our stay at this yard was almost one hundred days. After a 35 year career in the commercial marine industry, I can't recall a yard experience anywhere that has provided a superior service and hospitality to that of GranPeninsula.
